Fourth of July Jeanine’s
Fourth of July Family Tradition Every
year on the Fourth Of July, my entire extended family celebrates at my house.
The kids make stars out of red, white and blue construction paper and everyone
uses one to write "why they are proud to be an American" or "what
freedom means to them". We take a photo of the entire family, and later
after the film is developed, the photo and stars are collaged on a page in our
Fourth Of July album. It
is wonderful to watch this keepsake grow over the years. It's also alot of fun
to look at the previous years pictures and read our stars from years ago. It
serves as a reminder of how our family has grown and changed over the years. It
also reminds us of how lucky we are to live in America. |
