THURSDAY

The fifth day of the week after Sunday and the fourth day of the work week. The ancient Norsemen considered the day sacred to Thor, the Teutonic god of thunder; means Thor's day. Probably a translation of the Latin dies Jovis, for Jove, or Jupiter, the Roman god of thunder.

 

DAIRY

A secondary food in that it is one of the five food groups and is derived from other food groups. Comes from the milk of cattle which feed principally on grain.

 

EMPATHY

I am caring and sensitive so that I can identify with and understand another person's situation, feelings and motives.

 

VIOLET

A secondary color the sum of blue and red: signifies sorrow, suffering, high rank or royalty.
